VIR Goblins Go 2006
We went to Virginia
International Raceway for the NC Region annual Goblins Go event in
October 2006. The week before the event, we spent many hours
preparing the car installing donated fiberglass bonnet, fenders and
front spoiler from Sam Halkais. The car ran strong however we had a
minor problem, the drivers door pin broke on the 3rd lap and Mike
had to bring her into the pits when they black flagged him. We taped
the door shut and he went back out and finished 5th in class.

Walter Mitty 2007
Puffy Tiger Racing did not get
to race at the Mitty this year. Tiger has moved to Bowling Green
Kentucky and is busy setting up the new household.
Below are some photos from the
weekend as a spectator. As you can see, I camped out with my son
Zack and a bunch of Triumph folks, including Mark Farver from NC,
Ashford Little from Atlanta (6Pack Membership Chair), Shawn Tarleton
from Atlanta, Greg Donegan from KY (6Pack President) and Todd
Bermudez from OH (6Pack Editor).

We ran at Nashville in a SCCA
race in May 2006. Mike finished 1st place and set a new track record
for E Production! The car ran strong and we all have a great time!

SCCA Autocross
Mike drove this Jap Zero at SCCA drivers school. I
think he was trying to disguise himself since he was not driving his LBC.... The
safety steward lady (I think she was a she) liked him so much, she referred to
him as "Tiger"! I think she liked the pink driving shoes..... The nickname Tiger
has stuck ever since!!!
